Our goal is to make your stay at Chalet George as enjoyable and stress free as possible and we will organise your transfers, ski hire and passes and will assist or advise on ski school, guiding and child care or babysitting. Rosie and Nicholas Cardoe, who run the chalet, have many years experience in catering and hospitality. Nicholas will greet you on your arrival and manage any problems while Rosie will provide you with the best food in Morzine.

The chef has one night off a week, when we will be happy to suggest one of the charming local restaurants, and organise the reservation. Breakfast will be laid out the following morning.

Rod Pearson a partner of Ski George and long time resident of Morzine can be available by prior arrangement to guide or take guests around the Portes du Soleil circuit.

You can enjoy the following at Chalet George in winter:

Welcome drinks and snacks upon arrival.
Each morning a hearty breakfast: bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, porridge and yoghurts, croissants, local cheeses and ham.
Delicious home‐made cakes, bread and preserves are served on your return from a day on the slopes.
Canapes and a four‐course dinner are served six days a week in the evening with the emphasis on local produce and cuisine.
Our excellent house red and white wines are included with your meal, or you can choose from our small selection of local Savoyarde and fine wines.
In the bedrooms we use the best Egyptian cotton plus goose and duck down pillows, and fluffy towels. We also supply hairdryers and gorgeous shower and bath gels from France.
10% discount on all ski and snowboard rental. We have an online rental facility or we can take you to our local the ski shop to hire your equipment (click above on equipment hire on this page).
Arrangement of ski passes, lessons and guiding as well as more specialist adventures such as husky rides, paragliding, night sledging and snow shoeing.
